Stardom Scientific Journal of Economy and Management Studies respects the privacy of authors, reviewers, editors, and readers. This page explains how we handle personal data.

What We Collect

  • Account information: name, institutional affiliation, email address, country, ORCID iD (optional).
  • Manuscript metadata: title, abstract, authorship, affiliations, DOI, dates, decisions.
  • Reviewer activity: review history, response times (kept confidential).
  • Usage data: anonymised page views, downloads, IP-based country-level statistics (no individual tracking).

How We Use Data

  • To operate the submission and peer-review system.
  • To communicate with authors, reviewers, and readers about submissions, decisions, and announcements.
  • To publish article metadata to indexing services (Crossref, CLOCKSS).
  • To improve the journal through aggregated, anonymised analytics.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not share personal data with advertisers.
  • We do not disclose reviewer identities to authors except as required by editorial process (open or transferable peer review).

Data Sharing

Personal data may be processed by:

  • Our hosting provider (under a data-processing agreement).
  • Plagiarism-detection service (Turnitin) — only manuscript text is shared.
  • DOI registry (Crossref) — only article metadata.

Cookies

The journal uses a minimal set of cookies needed for login sessions and basic analytics. No third-party advertising cookies are set.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account (subject to retention requirements for the publication record).
  • Object to specific processing or withdraw consent.

Retention

  • Manuscript records are retained for at least 10 years after a final decision.
