Journal Funding Sources
Stardom Scientific Journal of Economy and Management Studies is committed to transparency about how the journal is funded.
Primary Funding
The journal is published by Stardom University, Istanbul, Turkey, which provides core operational support including:
- Editorial office staff and administration.
- Web hosting, software, and DOI registration.
- Plagiarism-detection licensing (Turnitin).
- Long-term archiving via CLOCKSS.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
Where applicable, Article Processing Charges contribute to production costs (copyediting, typesetting, hosting). See the APC page for the current schedule and waiver criteria.
Editorial Independence
Funding does not influence editorial decisions. The editor-in-chief and editorial board operate independently. Decisions on individual manuscripts are based solely on scientific merit, originality, ethical compliance, and fit with the journal's scope.
No Advertising Revenue (at present)
The journal currently does not accept paid advertisements. Should this change, the practice will follow the journal's Advertising Policy.
Sponsorships & Grants
The journal occasionally receives grants for special issues, indexing, or capacity-building. Any sponsorship of a special issue is fully disclosed in the issue's editorial introduction and does not give the sponsor influence over content or peer review.
